Enterprise Architect / Principal Architect / Head of Architecture

GoMining is hiring an Enterprise Architect to lead the technical architecture of their fintech and crypto ecosystem. Full-time remote role, excluding Belarus and Russia.

GoMining is a crypto and fintech ecosystem combining mining, payments, cards, wallets, custody, and a proprietary platform. As Enterprise Architect, you will own the end-to-end architecture of the entire ecosystem, including key domains (Payments, Cards, Custody, Wallet, Mining, Core Platform) and their interconnections. Responsibilities include: developing target architecture and long-term technology roadmap; ensuring architectural integrity and seamless integration across products; designing scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems for millions of users; defining service boundaries and integration patterns; making key architectural decisions on microservices, API, event-driven systems, and cloud infrastructure; eliminating architectural bottlenecks and tech debt; conducting architectural reviews and mentoring teams; aligning technical architecture with business strategy; evaluating new technologies; embedding security, reliability, and performance into architecture.

8+ years in software development, including 3+ years as Enterprise/Platform/Solution Architect; mandatory experience in FinTech, banking, payments, digital banking, or crypto; experience designing architecture for multiple interconnected products or domains; strong engineering background (Senior/Lead/Principal Engineer level); deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, API design, and integration patterns; experience building high-load, fault-tolerant, mission-critical systems; proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure); understanding of financial transaction processing, data consistency, security, and regulatory requirements; ability to drive long-term architecture strategy while staying hands-on; experience promoting architectural decisions across multiple engineering teams; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to have: experience with crypto exchanges, blockchain infrastructure, digital wallets, or custody solutions; experience with card issuing, payment processing, banking integrations, or financial ledgers; experience building or transforming complex multi-product financial ecosystems; knowledge of PCI DSS, KYC, AML, and financial compliance; experience scaling platforms to millions of users.
