DevOps Senior

DevOps Senior at OUTKOD. Location: outside Russia. Remote, full-time. Salary: from 230,000 to 270,000 net. Projects in fintech, telecom, and retail.

Due to company expansion, we are looking for a DevOps engineer. We work on large fintech, telecom, and retail projects (details to candidates).

• At least 3 years in a Senior position. • Active DevOps engineer, "player-coach". • Knowledge of key DevOps process efficiency metrics and skills in managing them. • Autonomy — ability to understand how a particular functionality works, diagnose and solve most emerging problems, and make necessary decisions. • Ability to clearly argue one's position and willingness to take responsibility for results. • Readiness to frequently switch between projects and ability to quickly understand their structure. • Deep skills in administering operating systems (Linux and Windows). • Ability to work with various virtualization systems and cloud technologies VMware, KVM, Linux containers (OpenVZ, Docker) for automatic deployment of operating systems, applications, and databases. • Database administration. • Experience with automatic container management, scaling, and deployment systems (Kubernetes, Apache Mesos). • Expert knowledge in networking, hardware environments, and storage systems; necessary for designing infrastructure for high-load applications and mission-critical systems with significant volumes of storage and information processing. • Knowledge of fault tolerance principles and technologies. • Confident knowledge of scripting languages for process automation and RESTful API calls. Usually knowledge of at least two scripting languages such as Bash or Python is required. • Knowledge of tools for managing automatic application deployment and configuration (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack) and CI systems (TeamCity, Jenkins). • Skills with monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, Graphite/Grafana, Prometheus) and logging (ELK, EFK).
