DevOps Senior

Senior DevOps Engineer. Full-time remote in Russia. Salary 230,000-270,000 RUB take-home. Fintech/telecom/retail projects.

Due to company expansion, we need a DevOps engineer. We work on large fintech/telecom/retail projects (details for candidates).

• 3+ years as Senior DevOps. • Working DevOps engineer, 'player-coach'. • Knowledge of key DevOps process efficiency metrics and management skills. • Independence — ability to understand functionality, diagnose and solve most issues, make necessary decisions. • Ability to justify position and take responsibility for results. • Willingness to switch between projects frequently and quickly understand their architecture. • Deep OS administration skills (Linux and Windows). • Work with virtualization and cloud technologies: VMware, KVM, Linux containers (OpenVZ, Docker) for automated deployment of OS, applications, and databases. • Database administration. • Experience with container automated management, scaling, and deployment systems (Kubernetes, Apache Mesos). • Expert knowledge of networking, hardware, and storage systems for designing high-load mission-critical infrastructure with significant storage and processing volumes. • Knowledge of fault tolerance principles and technologies. • Confident scripting for automation and RESTful API calls — usually at least two scripting languages like Bash or Python. • Knowledge of automated deployment and configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack) and CI systems (TeamCity, Jenkins). • Skills with monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, Graphite/Grafana, Prometheus) and logging (ELK, EFK).
