DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer (HFT)

DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer (HFT) at Triple Lemniscate Research. Remote, full-time, $5000-$7000. Optimize HFT systems performance.

We are looking for an engineer to join the DevOps team. The main task is to configure instances for HFT systems, investigate latency issues, and achieve required performance. Responsibilities: • Deploy trading applications, configure instances and environments to meet load and latency requirements. • Investigate and resolve performance issues in Linux, network, and services in test and production environments. • Build reproducible tests and benchmarks, verify impact of changes on latency, throughput, and resource consumption. • Automate infrastructure with Ansible and CI/CD. • Maintain infrastructure services, configure and optimize Kafka.

• Experience configuring and operating Linux instances in production. • Practical experience in finding and resolving performance issues at OS, network, and service levels. • Building reproducible tests and benchmarks, evaluating impact of changes on latency and throughput. • Infrastructure automation with Ansible and CI/CD. • Setting up monitoring and alerting for production systems. Nice to have: • Experience in HFT or other systems with strict latency requirements. • Linux performance tuning and work with perf, eBPF/bpftrace, strace. • Experience optimizing Kafka performance. • Development of diagnostic and automation tools in Python, Go, or C++.

Remote, full-time, salary $5000-$7000.
