DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer to lead building a new delivery and development infrastructure. Full-time, remote, only from Russia. Salary from 200,000 RUB (employment or self-employed). Tasks: CI/CD, Kubernetes, monitoring, Linux, Java app support.

Lead the creation of a new delivery and development infrastructure. Tasks: • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for building and delivering b2b services; • Deploy and support services in Kubernetes; • Support production environment: incident investigation, root cause analysis, resolution; • Configure and tune services, including Java applications (JVM, GC, resource limits); • Work with product teams and customer teams on deployment and delivery processes.

Kubernetes in production: confident operation and diagnostics of cluster issues; Helm: writing own charts, configuration for different environments; GitLab CI: multi-stage pipelines, templates, runners in Kubernetes, image building; Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana: metrics, alerts, dashboards; Confident Linux administration, automation with bash/python; Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, proxying and load balancing, fault-tolerant schemes; Experience supporting Java applications: tuning and troubleshooting. Nice to have: Experience with Kafka and other message brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ); Work in a closed environment, experience in banking.
