Deputy Head of Microbiological Laboratory

Deputy Head of Microbiological Laboratory responsible for operational management, coordination of testing, monitoring clean rooms, equipment maintenance, budgeting, and compliance with pharmaceutical quality standards. Requires higher education and 5+ years of experience in quality control.

Operational management of the microbiological laboratory and coordination of all testing activities. Control over timely and correct performance of duties by all laboratory staff. Organization and control of monitoring clean rooms, containers, closures, clean media, aseptic and disinfectant solutions. Organization and control of maintenance, current and major repairs of laboratory equipment. Formation of requests for the commercial department for the purchase of laboratory glassware, consumables, chemical reagents, nutrient media, standard samples, test cultures of microorganisms, workwear, etc. Organization of development of methods for quality control of raw materials, materials, and medicinal products. Organization of antimicrobial action determination. Participation in investigation of out-of-specification results. Providing necessary information upon request from the registration department for preparing responses or submitting registration dossiers. Control of proper accounting, storage, and write-off of reagents, standards, nutrient media, test cultures, and other material assets. Participation as an expert in working groups for change control and risk analysis. Annual preparation and approval of the microbiological laboratory budget for the next year. Monitoring compliance with current expenses according to the approved budget plan and timely approval of additional expenses if necessary.

Completed higher professional education (pharmaceutical, biotechnological, biological, chemical, or medical). Work experience of at least 5 years in quality control of medicinal products or food industry, in a similar or higher position. Experience in passing inspections by regulatory authorities (Rospotrebnadzor, Minpromtorg). Experience in participating in the development of a reconstruction/construction project of a microbiological laboratory and licensing is a plus.
