DataOps Engineer

DataOps engineer for Holocron team at 2GIS. Middle+, full-time, remote from any Russian city or office/hybrid in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk. Salary discussed individually.

Holocron develops 2GIS data infrastructure. Launching a Ceph cluster and participating in the transition to Lakehouse: S3/Ceph, Iceberg, Trino/StarRocks, and Alluxio. Tasks: support HDFS, Spark, ClickHouse, and Airflow; maintain Kubernetes in non-trivial cases; develop monitoring and alerting, handle incidents, and cooperate with NOC on network issues. Basic Helm charts, deployment, and monitoring are done by developers themselves.

From 2 years of Ceph production experience. Kubernetes in production with understanding of networks, storage, and operators; confident Linux. Experience with at least some of Kafka/Spark/ClickHouse/Airflow, Prometheus and Grafana, basic understanding of networks. Flink and experience in data-platform teams are a plus.
