StarTribe is looking for a Data Steward with 5+ years of experience in Data Governance/Data Quality. Responsibilities include developing and implementing data quality standards, data discovery, and managing data catalogs. The role is based in Belgrade, Serbia, with a hybrid work format.

About the project: development of an XRM system, a universal modular platform that combines the functionality of CRM, PRM, and HRM systems. Internal product with the prospect of market entry. The project is currently in the active development stage. What you will do: • Develop and implement Data Quality and Data Governance standards, regulations, and processes; • Develop data quality (DQ) checks: verifications, monitoring, and alerts; process and analyze DQ incidents; • Conduct Data Discovery, design and approve data contracts; • Configure and develop a data catalog (OpenMetadata); maintain the business glossary and manage metadata, describe data assets; • Develop a knowledge base for data practices, prepare and verify documentation; • Improve data management culture and implement best practices in the company's activities.

What is important: • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Stewardship; • Good knowledge of SQL for writing quality checks, anomaly detection; • Basic knowledge of Python for automation and DQ scripts; • Knowledge of Data Governance principles, basics of Data Quality processes; • Experience in maintaining a business glossary and data catalog; • Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality tools; • Higher education in IT, analytics, economics, or related fields.

Conditions: • Official employment; • Work schedule: 5/2 with a flexible start of the workday from 8:00 to 11:00 (office format, hybrid); • Probation period - 6 months; • Annual bonus based on performance; • Salary is discussed after a personal meeting; • Paid vacation, sick leave + 4 additional days off per year; • Corporate meals; • Partial compensation for English language and sports activities.
