Data Engineer DWH

Data Engineer for financial domain, DWH development, building sustainable data models, ETL/ELT, analytical marts. Full-time, office in Tashkent.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / DWH developer to work on analytical systems in the financial domain. We need a practical specialist who can quickly dive into the subject area, build a sustainable data model and take on tasks for the development and support of the analytical warehouse. The project focuses on working with data from credit organizations, focusing on data quality, transparency of metrics and ease of analytics. Key responsibilities: • Design and development of analytical data warehouse (DWH) • Development of data models (fact / dimension, aggregates) • Building ETL / ELT processes for data loading and transformation • Development of analytical marts and BI models • Work with financial data (loans, payments, delinquency, clients, products) • Ensuring quality, consistency and historicity of data • Optimization of queries, data models and calculation of metrics • Interaction with developers, analysts and business to formalize requirements

Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in Data / DWH development • Confident knowledge of SQL • Practical experience in building DWH / analytical systems • Understanding of data modeling approaches (Star Schema, Fact / Dimension) • Experience in developing ETL / ELT processes • Understanding of principles of analytical reporting and BI • Experience with one or more analytical databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric / Synapse) • Understanding of differences between OLTP and OLAP systems • Ability to design sustainable and clear data models Nice to have: • Experience in the financial domain (banks, MFIs, fintech) • Experience in building reporting on the loan portfolio (issuances, repayments, delinquency, collection, cohort and vintage analysis) • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Superset, Metabase) • Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt) • Experience using Python for data processing • Understanding of Data Quality, Data Governance and historization principles
