Cinematic Artist (UE5, Middle+/Senior)

Cinematic Artist for a hardcore co-op shooter in a licensed universe. Full-time remote. Create in-game cutscenes and trailers in Unreal Engine 5.

UpForge.Games is a young studio. We are making a hardcore co-op shooter in a well-known licensed universe (project under NDA). We focus on realism, intense gameplay, and atmosphere. We are looking for a Cinematic Artist to handle the cinematic side of the project: in-game cutscenes, trailers, and other videos. You will need to independently take a scene from idea to final in Unreal Engine 5. You will work closely with artists, animators, game designers, and programmers. Responsibilities: - Set up in-game cutscenes and scripted dialogues in UE5. - Make trailers and other videos for the project. - Lead the scene entirely: references, storyboards, and previs, assembly in Sequencer, final polish. - Set up cameras, composition, lighting, and timing. - Integrate animations and mocap into scenes. - Propose directorial decisions and discuss them with the team.

Important: - Experience in setting up in-game cutscenes, dialogues, or cinematic videos. - Confident UE5: Sequencer, Cine Camera, understanding of Blueprints. - Sense of composition, editing, and scene rhythm. - Understanding of character animation, post-processing, and real-time lighting (Lumen). - Independence: you lead the task and bring the scene to final quality. Will be a plus: - Blender, Maya, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve. - Experience with mocap and retargeting. - Experience in trailer editing. - Work on shooters or story-driven games in a realistic style.
