Chief Accountant & Financial Manager

Cyprus-based company specializing in structured financial products seeks Chief Accountant & Financial Manager to own accounting and finance function and work with CEO. Limassol, Cyprus; hybrid/remote; only candidates from Cyprus.

The company is looking for a Chief Accountant & Financial Manager who will take over the accounting and financial function and work directly with the CEO. Responsibilities: - Maintain full accounting under IFRS and Cyprus legislation (Companies Law, Cap. 113) - Be responsible for GL, AP, AR, payroll - Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting - Participate in preparation of Group and consolidated reports - Control cash flow and payments - Participate in budgeting and variance analysis - Prepare financial and management reporting for the CEO - Liaise with external auditors and consultants - Control tax and statutory reporting

We are looking for a person with: - Experience in accounting & finance in Cyprus - Experience in investment/capital markets/brokerage - Good knowledge of IFRS and Cyprus accounting legislation - Practical experience preparing financial and tax reporting in Cyprus - Experience independently managing company accounting - Understanding of GL, AP, AR, payroll, cash flow and budgeting - Experience interacting with external auditors - English and Russian at working level
