Yandex.Eda is seeking a backend developer with strong C++ skills to work on international projects, including launches in new countries and developing the Yandex.Eda subscription option in the Plus subscription for the international market. The role involves working with high-load systems and real-time business impact.

Yandex.Eda is a dynamic delivery service for meals from restaurants and groceries from stores. We process millions of orders worldwide daily and have already launched in CIS countries and others. We are looking for a backend developer to work on projects that have a real-time impact on the business. We expect you to: • Know C++ well • Have developed for Unix or Linux • Have worked with STL, preferably with Boost • Be familiar with ACID requirements, isolation levels, sharding, and database replication • Have developed backend, worked with high-load systems It will be a plus if you: • Have worked with multithreaded systems • Know how to work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ • Have designed architecture in distributed systems • Write tests and scripts in Python
