C Developer (BIOS/UEFI)

Russian IT hardware vendor seeks a system developer to work on UEFI BIOS and system software for GNU/Linux. Salary 200,000 RUB. Locations: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Minsk. Remote/hybrid/office.

We develop servers, storage systems, and computing platforms. We are looking for a system developer to strengthen the team developing specialized software for IT hardware. You will work at the intersection of software and hardware: from UEFI BIOS to system software under GNU/Linux. Responsibilities: - Maintain and enhance UEFI BIOS code for x86-64 computers. - Develop system software in C/C++ for GNU/Linux. - Diagnose issues at the boundary of software and hardware, and develop solutions. - Perform reverse engineering of embedded software.

Important: - 2+ years of independent development in C/C++. - Knowledge of x86 and amd64 architectures. - English B1 or higher – for reading documentation and work communication. Nice to have: - Experience with Linux drivers and U-Boot bootloader. - Embedded Linux software development. - Debugging experience with gdb and other tools. - Confident Linux and Git skills.
