BI Developer

Aston seeks a Middle BI Developer for full-time remote work, focusing on dashboards, data analysis, and optimization.

Responsibilities: - Create and maintain dashboards with metrics for incident management system features - Collaborate with engineers to add missing data - Analyze data from Jira and internal systems to calculate metrics - Work with existing data marts and ETL processes, making minor changes or optimizations

Requirements: - 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer - SQL knowledge, experience writing queries with window functions, groupings, and CTEs - Experience with large data volumes and their optimization - Experience creating and maintaining dashboards in Redash or similar visualization tools - Experience with Python: API and basic libraries for data analysis and visualization (pandas, requests, plotly) - Experience with visualization tools (Redash, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) - Experience in product teams, ability to negotiate and communicate with developers - Experience interacting with engineers to clarify requirements and add missing data - Ability to understand existing systems and quickly learn new data sources - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
