Responsibilities: Backend Development (Python / Django) Design and develop backend services and APIs using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework. Implement endpoints supporting reporting datasets, merchant dashboards, reconciliation flows, settlement summaries, and transaction analytics. Ensure backend is highly optimized for heavy data queries and large result sets. Database Engineering (PostgreSQL) Design relational database schemas supporting high-volume transactional data. Optimize queries, indexes, and database performance. Create stored procedures, views, and other types of queries when required. Ensure data integrity, auditability, and compliance. DevOps & Infrastructure Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar). Participate in containerization efforts (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus). Support monitoring, logging, and alerting setup for backend services. Perform basic cloud infrastructure tasks (AWS/GCP/Azure). General Work closely with Product, QA, UI/UX, and business teams to deliver reporting features. Break down complex reporting needs into scalable technical solutions. Support production issue triage, incident analysis, and long-term improvements. Ensure timely, secure, and high-quality delivery across the engineering team.
