The Chronicle of Higher Education is accepting pitches for two sections: - The Review: essays, reviews, longreads about academic life. - Advice: practical advice for teachers and administrators, how-to format without theorizing.

- Fluent English (materials and correspondence with the editor are in English) - Original, lively text with a clear point of view (for The Review) or practical how-to format without theorizing (for Advice) - Advice: 1000–1800 words, conversational style, no jargon or footnotes - Material must be written by a human, not AI - Publication experience is a plus, but not required
