AI Engineer (Video Pipeline, Python)

Responsibilities include: - Designing content pipelines (like ETL): collecting ideas/scripts, generating prompts, calling AI APIs (video/audio/image), automated rendering and editing (ffmpeg), and exporting finished videos. - Independently selecting and integrating AI models: evaluate the market of generative models, choose optimal solutions for tasks (Runway, Pika, Sora, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Suno, open-source models), and build integrations. - Generating and delivering source content: create all primary material for videos (images, video clips, voiceover, music, scripts) using AI. - Managing budget for generation (API tokens): plan expenses, optimize generation costs, choose between paid APIs and open-source alternatives, and be responsible for economic efficiency of the pipeline. - Quality control (Data Quality to Video Quality): set up automated and semi-automated checks for generated video (artifacts, screentracking, lipsync, compliance with platform technical requirements).

Candidates should have: - Systematic engineering mindset (like a classic Data Engineer) applied to creative/media. - Strong Python skills. - Experience in designing and automating pipelines (ETL/ELT, orchestration, queues, retries, monitoring). - Experience integrating external APIs (including unstable ones with limits and paid tokens). - Understanding of video processing: ffmpeg, codecs, formats, resolutions, bitrate. - Experience with generative models (text, images, video, audio). - Ability to independently learn new tools and bring them into projects. - Responsibility for budget and unit cost — managing token consumption. Nice to have: - Experience with Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, LoRA. - Work with Runway, Pika, Sora, Kling, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Suno. - Experience in media, production, content factories. - Understanding of platform requirements (Reels, Stories, Shorts, TikTok). - MLOps skills: model deployment, Docker, GPU infrastructure.
